Carrying on the Legacy of Southern BBQ

At Turkey's Barbecue, we’re proud to carry on a legacy that began with the renowned Southern Pitt-style BBQ tradition of Thomas Pitt. Our founder, Michael Darwin, learned the art of slow-cooked barbecue from the seasoned crew at Pitt’s restaurant, mastering the techniques that make our BBQ stand out. When Pitt retired, we knew we had to continue this beloved tradition, so in 2015, we opened Turkey's Barbecue. Our signature dishes, like ribs, potato salads, and sweet vinegar slaw, have become favorites in the community, thanks to our dedication to preserving authentic Southern flavors.

We named our restaurant “Turkey’s” because of Michael's reputation as a popular holiday cook who brought joy to many with his meals. Today, we’re excited to expand our reach, offering fast online ordering and delivery services, especially as the holiday season approaches. Our goal is to bring our famous BBQ to an even wider audience, while staying true to the Southern roots that make our food so special.
